About the Artist

After 20 years of creating stone and steel sculpture, I have turned my blowtorch to canvas and have developed a new inspiring medium to capture my love for the Ocean. As a triathlete, I’ve cataloged an array of images training in the seas from the Cape to the Keys.

Recreating these images using traditional techniques fell short, so I explored and studied how materials behave under stress; push-pull, heat-hydrate. My techniques are unconventional and as a result, you'll find the unexpected. My only tradition as a contemporary artist is to experiment every day and discover new and interesting ways to duplicate my oceanic sensory portfolio.
