Are you curious to learn how to start a career in the arts? Or perhaps wondering how to navigate the application processes for college art programs?
The Art School & Career Panel Series at Tephra Institute of Contemporary Art (Tephra ICA) offers an opportunity for high school students, college students, and early-career professionals to learn more about pursuing a degree or career in the arts field. Listen to a panel of established arts professionals from all over the country as they discuss their backgrounds and career paths while sharing valuable tips and recommendations.
The second program of this series will focus on art history, art education, and art management. It will be held virtually via Zoom on Thursday, December 1, from 6PM–7PM. Participants will have opportunities to ask questions during a Q&A session following the panel discussion.
Speakers of this panel will include: Justin Sutters, Assistant Dean of Research and Assessment of the College of Visual and Performing Arts and Director of Master of Arts in Education (MAT) program at George Mason University; Maleke Glee, inaugural Director of STABLE, and Molly Warnock, art historian, critic, and published writer at Artforum.
