Now in its 34th year, the Tephra ICA Arts Festival will take place on May 17-18, 2025 at Reston Town Center. Over 200 contemporary artists and artisans will travel from across the country to present original artwork to share with Festival audiences. Drawing upon a robust exhibitor and collector base coupled with Tephra ICA’s contemporary art foundation, the Festival has become one of the region’s most anticipated events, attracting tens of thousands of people to the unique, outdoor environment of Reston Town Center. Parking and Transportation
Garage parking at Reston Town Center is free during the Festival weekend. For public transportation, take the Metro Silver Line to Reston Town Center Station. The Festival is a 10-minute walk from the Metro station or a quick shuttle ride via Link RTC.
Volunteer at the Festival
More than 300 volunteers help make this event possible each year. Festival volunteers fill a variety of roles, including but not limited to: event set-up, welcoming of guests, booth sitting for participating artists as part of the Artist Hospitality group, accepting donations as a Festival Ambassador, or helping create fun projects in the Festival Art Park. Each task is critical to the success of the event and would not be possible without your support. Sign up individually, with a friend, or as a group!
Volunteers as young as 13 years old are welcome to earn community service hours at this event.
Capital One Hall | 2025 Title Sponsor
Tephra ICA is excited to announce Capital One Hall as the Title Sponsor of the 2025 Tephra ICA Arts Festival.
Capital One Hall will activate the heart of the Festival on Market Street with an interactive art installation at the festival, inviting attendees to contribute to its creation. After the festival, the completed artwork will be displayed on the Capital One Center campus as a celebration of this partnership. Festivalgoers will also have the chance to purchase fee-free tickets to upcoming performances at Capital One Hall, learn more about future shows, and enter to win VIP tickets to the Broadway in Tysons production of Chicago.
