Join Tephra ICA for a Creative Response program featuring Very Sad Lab, a research-based houseplant rehabilitation community engagement art project developed by artists Valerie Wiseman and Naoko Wowsugi.
The Creative Response program series invites experts from various creative fields to find inspiration in the work currently on view and provide a form of response that is authentic to their practice. Past guests have included poets, dancers, writers, musicians, visual artists, conservators, podcast producers, chefs, and more.
In addition to the in-person program, the Creative Response will be livestreamed beginning at 4:30pm and guests are welcome to join via Zoom with this link. This program is generously supported by Reston Community Center.
