About the Artist
A self-taught artist born in Israel in a farming community in Galilee. Spending my childhood and young adulthood in Israel profoundly influence both the subject matter and approach to my work. Living now in the west and doing shows in Park City and Sun Valley exposes me to the beautiful Aspen trees with it’s uniqueness to be connected by the roots to create from one tree A whole Grove up to100 acres. There are several steps in the creation of a batik each color achieve requires a double process of waxing and dying. It walks from light to dark with the wax and dye process repeat until the batik is completed. Lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
