About the Artist

My journey in art began when I started to travel internationally and the sensations, energy, and culture washed over me like a wave. I discovered that my love of travel needed to be channeled into a vision that I could share with everyone, thus I began to experiment with photography. Traveling in such colorful and exotic locations led me to find a way to record the vivid, surreal palate of the world. This for me was the use of film traditional film and darkroom printing photography. These are part of my evening reciprocity series which explores the surreal colors that can occur with film, lighting, and long exposures. All the colors shown are on my film, I do not use photoshop. Lives and works in Santa Cruz, CA.
