About the Artist
Painting is my way of transmitting the joy of life and beauty I experience in the world.
In painting with the pallet knife I intensify the spontaneity and boldness of the art work. My painting "Happy Meadow" is a clear example of the cheerful feeling I like to convey.
Inspired by the impressionist painters, I focus mostly on capturing a feeling or an atmosphere rather than creating a realistic rendition of a subject. In approaching each artwork differently I always seek new ways to challenge myself.
I feel a deep emotional fulfillment and pleasure when I paint. I am very thankful that by creating unique peaceful paintings it is possible to spread joy and lift the spirits of the viewers.
