About the Artist
My work consists of highly detailed black-and-white pen-and-ink drawings, all meticulously created using a .25mm Rapidograph. I began drawing in college while pursuing my doctorate in theoretical nuclear physics in the '70s, and my work has evolved over the years capturing my mind's meanderings.
Each piece is inked entirely by hand, exploring a range of themes from naturalistic to mechanistic to space and science fiction. I often incorporate images, symbols, words, and physics equations —many drawn directly from my own PhD dissertation in theoretical physics—to add depth, texture, an element of chaos, and a touch of playfulness.
