About the Artist
I create paintings in intricate detail using watercolor, ink, and iridescent watercolor. Although I started my career as a strict conformist to Chinese-style paintings, I was unsatisfied with the lack of depth. On the other hand, I enjoyed the vibrancy and color of American paintings but this style did not have the realistic characteristics that I desired. I started experimenting with different painting techniques until I created a unique style. In order to accomplish this, I have branched out into a new mixed medium format where I add metallic ore to paint for a vivid look & feel. Lives and works in Palm Coast, FL.
