About the Artist
Creating hand-fabricated designs using only traditional metalsmithing techniques; I begin with American recycled fine silver and gold with ethically sourced stones minimizing environmental impact. The metal is recycled from all my own scrap including the dust from sanding or other jewelers. The scrap is melted into a crucible, poured into ingots, hammered down and finally the metal is milled creating sheet & wire. This also allows for my personal mix of silver with no nickel, reducing allergens.
Using fire, muscle, and traditional tools like a hammer, mandrel, pliers and snips; the designs spring from my sketchbook or at times it's a free-flowing process and takes shape while forming. Each hand-fabricated piece is truly one of a kind, cleanly executed, named for the little things that inspire. I strive to offer a diverse price point focusing on providing a handmade quality high design, ethical and artistic piece of wearable art of timeless modernity.
