About the Artist
I am a copper artisan, making patina totem collages, leaf patina mandala-based round mirrors, textured seasonal leaf portraits and garden decor in my Richmond, VA studio. Surface transformation using hand-aged verdigris and hammered detailing has long been a part of my process. Plant forms figure prominently in my work, bringing an organic element to my chemical verdigris formulations. My current passion is exploring circular leaf designs for mandala and mirrors, and integrating enameling with my copper patina collages.
