About the Artist
Cora Olson received a B.A in studio arts through the University of Mary Washington, where she concentrated in ceramics and explored creating functional and large-scale pieces. Upon graduation Cora was a part of a studio/gallery space in Fredericksburg Virginia. She later moved back to northern Virginia where she joined the LAC. In 2023 Cora continues to make functional artwork that maintains a thoughtful relationship between design and form, while also exploring large works that look into the relationship of femininity in our world today.
