About the Artist
The thought process for other works depicting urban landscapes and figurative content maintains a whimsical and surreal quality through both real and not-so-imagery. These paintings require a vivid imagination, patience, and a steady hand. D'Arches watercolor paper is taped to a board, pencil images are applied, Windsor Newton professional grade watercolors are applied to paper with paint brushes. Works are entirely painted, no pen and ink are used. Finished works are framed using acid-free materials. Exterior murals are painted in watercolor, enlarged, and transferred to a concrete wall by Pounce Pad Technique. German Keim Mineral Silicate paints complete work. Lives and works in Reston, VA.
