About the Artist
Chaotic energy on canvas is developed with a layer of acrylic paint, then handmade paper is applied to the canvas to build the composition, then acrylic paint and flexible paste medium are added then sanded then painted on again. I alternately add watercolor crayons and pencils for geometric definition in contrast to the organic texture of the paper that comes through with the sanding. Working intuitively like this ensures that every single piece is truly one of a kind.
