About the Artist
A successful piece of jewelry is one that you do not want to put down, one from which you simply cannot divert your eyes. I strive to make such pieces. I use high karat gold, meteorite, sterling and fine silver, rubber, diamonds and other fine gemstones. Pieces are fabricated, cast, carved, inlaid, and etched. One piece I've applied with is the Helios Cuff, hand-built from one slice of Gibeon Meteorite with a natural edge, cold forged into a cuff. I added an 18k stepped border and a bezel-set 1.23 ct yellow sapphire, 24k inlay, and white, canary, and golden diamonds. I then lined it in sterling silver. I try to honor the materials and their sources with my design (in the case of Gibeon Meteorite, I often draw inspiration from celestial themes.) Lives and works in Burlington, VT.
