About the Artist
Having worked in advertising for decades, I learned a design ethos that provides a piece's focal point or hero element. My “glass river” candles demonstrate this. When I first fused glass, I created jewelry, thinking I would make only that genre for the rest of my career. The pandemic allowed me to explore designing larger pieces, which evolved into art glass candles and now menorahs. I'm in class six of a six-part masterclass series on fusing glass taught by Narcissus Quagliata. I am moving to the Pacific Northwest to my dream home with an art studio and a view of water and mountains. My work is available on my website.
