About the Artist

My body of work in porcelain is my attempt to bring solitude and peace to our busy everyday lives. My goal is to encourage myself and others to set aside time to quiet our minds and reflect on our souls, to appreciate the beauty of nature which I try to capture a reflection of in each piece in the form of a landscape whether it be the ocean, sky, mountains, etc. In the piece "sandy beaches" the curves that I've carved are a representation of the waves that have crashed upon the beach and the layers of color are layers of sand that are revealed with each retreating wave. Lives and works in Old Tappan, NJ.
