About the Artist
I was born in Shanghai China. I graduated from college with BA and taught art at the college level for several years. In my early years in New York, I studied Photography in the School of Visual Arts and NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Travel, landscape, and fine art photography really inspire my passion and creativity. In recent years, I traveled to China, Japan, India, Myanmar, Laos, Nepal, Bhutan, Malaysia, Ethiopia, Cuba, Peru, and Antarctica. I’ve spent most of my time on fine art photography. I’ve exhibited my works widely across the US in various galleries and top national shows. I’ve been awarded “Best in Show” at Ft Worth Main St Art Festival 2016 and Armonk(NY) Outdoor Art Show 2018, as well as many times awarded best in photography at various shows. I specialize in capturing the culture and beauty of the world through a unique perspective that infuses humanity into landscapes, and the spirit of Zen into the simplicity of compositions.
