About the Artist
Working from my studio in Black Mountain, NC, I create unusual monumental mixed media Wall Art pieces. Combining acrylic paint, sprays, solvents, powdered metals, dyes and materials from my science lab, my work is unlike any other. The lab components create a whole new medium. Though credit-card thin, this unique form of art creates a depth that can only truly be appreciated when viewed in person. The work appears to be three dimensional, yet flat on the surface. You can get lost...there's a magic that happens with the work. I am often astounded at what can be done with this medium.
