Born in Baja Calif Mexico. 1958 Raised among the Cochimi Indians and the Russian Settlers Who were renting the land from Mexico so they could mine the gold...
It was the nature of this his birthplace that produced him...A man in touch with nature and his quest to express it....Painting since the age of six...became the tool In a place where you could smell the Earth and you could touch the colors. My Paintings come from deep within....they are an invitation to travel....It is not the movement from ocean to desert..But the vast journey through Human experience....my work is done on separate stages.. background I use a palette knife and oils one a separate stage I do a relief done with modeling paste and finally I do the subject with brushwork and acrylics.
