About the Artist

The Art of Papercutting is a process of hand-cutting a single piece of paper and turning them into a beautiful design is the soul of my work. Along with the different cultures of this small world, different activities in our daily life, its forces, and inhabitants influence the theme of my work. Including my own Indian heritage, other cultures have always been a great source of joy, energy, and inspiration for me. It inspires the gentle curves; smooth transitions and defined lines found in my works are cut with a knife and scissors.
I use Japanese Origami, Silhouette, and Chinese Rice paper for my artwork. Most of my recent works are mounted three-dimensional and used all museum-quality materials. Some of my pieces are touched with hand-painted acrylic colors and used airbrush techniques in the backboard. Each piece of work is carefully and individually handcrafted to ensure the highest quality and excellence of design. Lives and works in Blue Bell, PA
