About the Artist
I am inspired by color combinations, patterns, shapes, and forms found in nature. I employ abstracts of those elements to create fused glass pieces that are clean and playful while embracing aesthetic and functional values. My creative process explores the use of color fields in partnership with accents of strong patterns and imagery while embracing the play of light and shadow on adjacent surfaces as part of the finished piece. Examples of patterns and play of light can be seen on several of my bowls and trays.
