About the Artist
My work is an invitation, a welcome, to my imagination. Using paper, a universally understood medium , these 3 dimensional hand cut collages immerse the viewer and encourage them to participate in a visual story. The planes of each piece of art construct a unique tale and create a metaphor for the layers that make us who we are as people. The connection and appreciation of our dimensions is not only worth our time but enriches our lives. Each assemblage encourages the observer to make a contribution to the artwork to be either held within or shared with others. It is an approach that expands perspectives , conjures new ideas and captures emotions through the manipulation of paper. Rebirth, flight, mystery, exploration, contemplation and discovery is the invitation that I extend.
