About the Artist
My meticulously patterned ink art reflects my love of nature, biology, geology, art history, ethnic art from around the world and textiles. I notice patterns in everything, from grande to microscopic. I harken back to these loves as I draw my joy and compassion-infused art. My art speaks to young and old, reminding them of things that they love and the joy they bring. When I draw, I get to lean into my God-given desire for detail & precision, as I peacefully and carefully render each subject using the patterns that my mind has stored up over a lifetime. Because of the exquisitely fine patterning in each drawing, viewing them is an intimate experience. The closer you get, the more you see. The magic is in the details!
