About the Artist

My creative process begins long before I even buy the materials. I get most of my inspiration for products from architecture and nature. In my travels, I have seen buildings and environments from which I have designed my pieces. Lines on a building translate into inlay designs as seen in my Sienna Table, and the natural environment I see around me leads to my latest integration of leather and wood, as seen in my stools and benches. It all comes together in the selection of fine exotic woods, and high-quality leather. As I work the wood, see the natural beauty of the grain, feel the shape of each section of the art piece, eventually, the design in my head is realized. In the completed piece, I feel a sense of satisfaction in taking an idea and making it a reality. Lives and works in Burton, TX.
