Mixed Media painting on a deep gallery wrapped canvas. Acrylic paints & inks, alcohol inks, various collage papers, handmade papers, oil paints & sticks/cold wax medium, dried botanicals, pastels. My work is Layered & excavated to achieve depth, texture & to reveal the history and future of the piece. I find the use unconventional tools & fingerprinting enhance my work. Although I am an intuitive painter, I find that once we have a conversation between us, the painting takes on the semblance of our conversation. Be it memories of childhood, friendships, family, the joy or fear I am feeling or just the sign of the times. I hope you enjoy the journey with me.
