About the Artist
My original artwork is the result of combining two of my passions, antique watches, and vintage cars. The gears found in the antique watches inspire me to capture the movement and the exquisite intricacy in automobiles and other machines. The backbone of a 1952 motorcycle offers an incredible opportunity to reimagine the inner workings of a symbol of an era. Over the years this evolved to a new line featuring musical instruments. I have always admired the aesthetics of musical instruments and I combined the notion that the time - tempo - in music sets the mood of a piece, to create musical instruments with watch parts. Lives and works in Rockville, MD.
