About the Artist

Engine-New-Ity is a clever, original, and inventive line of unique sculptures that truly lives up to its name. Thanks to my relationship with local engine and transmission rebuilders, I have gained access to the parts they reject during the rebuilding process. I also add cabinet knobs and door knobs to bring splashes of color to my work. The Industrial/Steampunk-inspired armadillo is made almost completely from rejected spider gears from a vehicle. I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky. I am a proud juried member of the American Craft Council and the Kentucky Crafted program.
