About the Artist
My jewelry designs are a captivating fusion of intricate metalwork and vibrant illustration techniques. As a metalsmith, I meticulously create distinctive bezels by soldering, hammering, and polishing small batches of metal strip and wire. My preference for eco-friendly practices is reflected in the use of resin, colored with natural pigments and crushed stones, enhancing the fine details of my metalwork. One example is my piece "Painted Necklace" where I accent natural leaf details with brass. What distinguishes my designs is my incorporation of illustration techniques to infuse colors and patterns into my jewelry. Drawing on my background in painting and architecture, I bring a distinctive perspective to my craft, leveraging my understanding of color and composition to fashion wearable works of art. Sustainability is a core focus, evident in my use of reclaimed wood and other natural, repurposed materials. Fueled by a passion for experimentation, I constantly push the boundaries of what's achievable with these materials, resulting in designs that are both innovative and beautiful.
