About the Artist
My fascination with historical jewelry/architecture and modern design is the basic framework for my pieces. Nature and sea life are the subjects I explore and the texture of nature is sometimes abstract. In the first image, a bracelet has a spiral hand carved out of many pieces of wax and cast. I then solder them together and set the diamonds into the piece. The bracelet is hand constructed and at that point, I solder the cast piece into the cuff part and add the curdled cast pieces and set the center stone, a peridot. By offsetting the main focal point of the bracelet I can achieve a more modern take on a bracelet.
