About the Artist
Using the natural light that nature provides, I strive for images that draw viewers in and transports them to a place (or memory) that elicits peace and quiet. "Morning In The Redwoods" is an example of this. The patience it takes to capture the right light is a challenge I look forward to every time. When a viewer sees my work and expresses the same emotions I was feeling when the image was taken, I know I've done my calling. I enjoy using the highest quality equipment and developing different techniques with settings to get the final image. It matters to me that I continually grow as a photographer, so I push myself the to research and challenge the status-quo. It's what excites me.
