About the Artist

I start with arrangement and composition, paint base colors with a big brush, then scrap some thick areas with a palette knife when it is half dry. I try to reveal the intensity of color and tone by painting layers of colors, alternating the thin and thick, warm and cool giving colors a dynamic tension. I will also make sure the contour lines of objects and figures in my painting are properly done and reflected light is adeptly used.
